2010 REUNION REPORT The 98th Lipscomb Family Reunion is now history. On Saturday, July 10, 2010, approximately 108 people attended the reunion at The Church at Liberty Square in Cartersville. The reunion committee and officers arrived before 10:00 to begin the set up of tables, chairs, serving line, etc. At around 10:00, other family members began arriving. While family members visited, several committee members and others were setting up and working in the kitchen, As usual, the food was plentiful and tasty and Clifton Cox did his usual fine job of being sure we had all the supplies (plates, utensils, drinks, etc.) that were needed. After lunch, James Hendricks conducted the annual business meeting. You'll be hearing more about this in the coming months and years, but the planning and discussion of where and how to best celebrate the 100th reunion in 2012 was a topic of discussion. If you have ideas and suggestions that you'd like to share, be sure to talk to one of the officers or committee members. We want this to be the greatest reunion ever, so it's not too early to start planning for it. The 2010 officers and committee members were elected and will have a planning meeting at a date to be announced later.
